Office Manager

Permanent, Full-time | Newbury | Salary: DOE

We’re looking for an Office Manager / Executive Assistant to support our management team. In this busy and varied role, you’ll have excellent communication and organisational skills. You’ll enjoy managing multiple tasks, such as providing day to day administrative support on everything from meeting preparation and looking after clients, to travel arrangements, keeping on top of our insurance policies and sorting out general building maintenance. You’ll understand the importance of confidentiality and discretion. You’ll also enjoy working with multiple people across the different business areas.

  • Managing challenging and continually changing diaries; forward planning to maximize time and efficiency
  • Arranging meetings and looking after clients while they’re on-site
  • Point of contact for both internal and external suppliers
  • Organising events and conferences from beginning to end, including event debrief if necessary
  • Organising overseas and UK travel; onward transfers and security requirements; visa applications; liaison with local offices in respect of scheduled agendas and ground transportation
  • All aspects of building maintenance, including ordering supplies / consumables (toilet rolls, tea, coffee, sugar, hand soap, cleaning materials, etc.), liaising with the cleaner, arranging for trades people to come in as necessary (e.g. plumbers, gardeners, painters, etc.)
  • Dealing with general employee administration, including induction of new employees,
  • Looking after various company-wide accounts, such as our company mobile phone account
  • Managing all requirements of our fleet vehicles, including insurance, MOT’s, servicing, fuel cards, etc.
  • Providing proactive, efficient and professional support to the directors
  • Aiding the FD with various ad hoc tasks, such as raising expenses and POs
  • Collating minutes and preparing agendas; ensuring meeting actions are completed and fed-back

You will be reporting directly to the Finance Director. Salary is dependant on experience. Annual leave is 20 days plus bank holidays. Pension is 2% contribution. Private health care after 2 years of continuous employment or an additional 2 days annual leave if preferred. Phone and laptop will be provided.

Sales Development Manager

Permanent, Full-time | Glasgow and Slough | Salary: DOE

As a Sales Development Manager, you will be a key part of the Centre. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills in order to deal with customers face to face or over the phone. You will need to be comfortable with B2B sales, driving to meet clients, building and maintaining relationships, and be self-motivated. Alongside your customer first attitude, you will be maximising sales, maintain customer retention and over achieve on targets. Passion for the product and delivering incredible customer service will be evident in everything you do.

Candidate Profile

The candidate will ideally need to have experience in a Parts Sales environment and a proven track record of achieving sales results against targets. A confident communicator, who will have the ability to build rapport quickly with customers, delivering the highest level of customer service. You will have the drive to consistently meet and exceed customer needs and could close deals effectively, enabling you to drive sales forward. Ability to develop Parts sales to our existing customer base and develop new Parts accounts within our predetermined territory.

  • You will have the ability to quickly establish and build rapport
  • Prepare and use planned sales presentation, to achieve maximum results from available sales opportunities, including customer greeting, qualifying, handling objectives, product presentation and demonstrations and closing and delivery

  • Maintain relationships and contact with existing customers on a regular basis informing them of any promotions
  • Maintain records of all personal expenses in line with company process

The company has experienced rapid growth in the last year and are seeking a .Net professional to join their small, talented IT team based in their head offices near Newbury. This role comes as a result of continual growth and the company is in an excellent position. The company has been working solely in the automotive industry since day one and have been able to carry out a variety of solutions for many of the major global vehicle manufactures. These are bespoke solutions for each company and are aimed to achieve the best results within budget and at the correct rate.

Your new role

You'll be working within a small dynamic team of software developers developing web-based and database oriented projects. The software and data analysis teams work in conjunction to enable the company to deliver the solutions required to push growth and deliver revenue. You will not be working from strict specs but will be expected to be part of requirements capture and timescale management.

What you'll need to succeed

You must have proven experience programming in C# and be comfortable with Asp.Net, MVC and SQL Server. You should also have knowledge of web technologies, namely HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Knowledge of Web Services (SOAP and Rest) and Version Control will be a distinct bonus. Mobile app development experience with Xamarin would also be to your advantage but not essential. You must be a good communicator happy to sit with various stakeholders. You will need to be pragmatic and natural problem solver. You'll ideally have a car and driving license.
