2008

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

In 2008, Stuart Bartlett made the leap into a new business venture by putting to use his vast experience in the automotive sector. With just 3 other automotive veterans on board, they picked up the telephone and started making a name for Bluegrasscoms in the aftermarket arena.

2009

PEUGEOT CITROËN GET THINGS MOVING

2009 saw Bluegrasscoms establish its lasting relationship with PSA UK. With a team of just five people, Citroën’s first National Accounts call centre was managed and run at Bluegrasscoms HQ.

2010

PEOPLE START TAKING NOTICE

Through our relationship with PSA, Bluegrasscoms started to become noticed in the industry by some of the other big players in the UK vehicle parc. Via word of mouth alone, Bluegrasscoms were becoming the trade’s go-to call centre operator.

2011

CONTRACT AFTER CONTRACT AFTER CONTRACT AFTER…

By 2011, activity had majorly stepped up a gear. With several National Accounts contracts in place, an expanding out-bound telesales call centre and a growing team to facilitate this, Bluegrasscoms were creating one hell of a buzz!

2012

BLUEGRASSCOMS STEPS INTO THE SOFTWARE ARENA

Born out of a passing idea from Chris Setz, the concept for what’s now known as ‘VISION’ was mapped out. Was it a feasible idea? Would Vehicle Manufacturers see its benefits? Were Bluegrasscoms in a position to make this a reality? And of course, the answer to all the above was YES!

2013

CLIENT LIST CLOCKING UP

Peugeot, Citroën, Ford, Nissan, Renault, TPS and Vauxhall are all now working with Bluegrasscoms in some aspect of their trade offering. As a consultant Bluegrasscoms have always had the attitude that no matter what the issue a client presents them with, they will find a solution, on budget, on time and on brief.

2014

A NEW STRING TO OUR BOW

National Accounts, telesales, consultancy, software and now marketing. Bluegrasscoms were appointed Vauxhall Trade Club’s trade agency, which included all programme marketing assets. A new contract meant a new team. Bluegrasscoms now have a fully equipped in-house marketing and design team; Animators, UI Designers, Graphic Designers, Photographers, Account Managers and Copywriters.

2015

TIME TO RELOCATE

Due to VISION’s rapid growth, Bluegrasscoms relocated to a modern 2-storey office building just outside Newbury. It was all hands-on deck to get all employees set up and operational with as little down time as possible. With a new location came the opportunity to expand our in-house development team. With yet more creative minds we were able to develop a suite of sales and reporting tools; The Sight Suite. These platforms were beta tested with Vauxhall field sales teams.

2016

AND ANOTHER ONE…

Another Trade Programme was awarded to Bluegrasscoms; Nissan Trade Direct. Bluegrasscoms were appointed to develop a full Trade programme for Nissan from the ground up. This involved branding, telesales, marketing, data analysis and field teams.

2017

THINGS GO FROM NATIONAL TO GLOBAL

PSA VISION was hallmarked for a global roll-out, quickly followed by Renault Europe, Opel Europe, Nissan Europe and Hyundai Europe. To keep ahead of the impending activity, Bluegrasscoms opened their first European office in Madrid Spain. able to develop a suite of sales and reporting tools; The Sight Suite. These platforms were beta tested with Vauxhall field sales teams.

2018

WE HAVE 135 EMPLOYEES

In 2008, Bluegrasscoms formed with only a team of four at it’s fomation, growing considerably over time we are proud to say we currently have a team of over 135 employees based around our main office, around the country and now even across Europe.

WHAT’S NEXT?

In our tenth-year things are already panning out for 2018 to be yet another momentous year. Office expansions, VISION roll-outs, event sponsorships, training programmes and yet more trade programmes - what else can Bluegrasscoms take onboard?
